Carole

Carole has been a lover of animals her entire life. She devotes her efforts to making sure her pets are healthy, happy and get a full share of love. Carole’s goal is to make sure every Paws Doggy Daycare client is provided with a safe, enjoyable and loving environment during their stay with us. Carole will care for your furry pal as if he or she were her own.

Gregg

Gregg is also a life-long dog lover and has trained and worked with dogs over the course of his life. He welcomes the opportunity to provide the same devotion and care to your furry family member.

Mark

As Mark puts it, “My boys have always been my children and I work with them through training to insure that they are well adjusted and happy. My newest fella, Duke (an English Setter) is full of personality and fun. If he’s not working grouse or pheasant in the field, he’s home watching the Vikings with me, usually in his own chair. I love my dogs like they were my own children and I understand how I want my boys treated. I will treat your pups the same way.”

Our goal at Paws Doggy Daycare is to retain the finest employees to supervise the pets in our care.

We believe every dog should receive the highest levels of personal attention, care, understanding of their special needs, and love. In other words, keeping dogs happy and healthy is more than just a credo; it’s what drives us day in and day out!

Your main job description as a dog handler is to supervise, manage, and interact with groups of off-leash dogs of all breeds and sizes. Our goal is to get our guests plenty of socialization and exercise as well as maintaining an exceptionally high level of dog safety.

This will include breaking up rough or inappropriate interactions between dogs of all sizes weights. Also included is light cleaning duties such as: clean & disinfect the pens throughout the day; feed & water dogs; mopping, clean up dogs’ messes. Communicate dogs’ behavior or health issues to a Manager.

This is a fun job (you are with dogs!), but it is also hard work! You will be on your feet and active throughout the entire shift.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working with dogs preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to lift 40 lbs with no restrictions.
Able to stand for long periods of time and be physically active throughout the shift (bending, crouching, walking, lifting, etc.); this is a physically demanding job.
Must have an overwhelming love for dogs of all shapes and sizes!! Be patient & tolerant of: dogs in general, loud environments (barking), dog waste, odor and dog hair.

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:

Currently seeking part time candidates available.
A minimum of 1 weekend shift per week if necessary.
Employees are expected to work some holidays.
